johnnybones-
...? LOL

FYI-
23rd in OKC has some historic interest. At one time the shopping mall in Oklahoma City was located on 23rd street. This was back before malls became what they are today. After they started building "modern" shopping malls, Shepherd Mall slowly lost traffic and business to the new ones. Now it serves mostly as an office building.

On the east side of the city, 23rd was the main street for the "black section" of town, where many of the businesses were located. There's still a substantial African-American population in that area, although the city isn't as segregated as it was 25 years ago.

The State Capitol is on 23rd, just west of the "black section". and a couple of miles west of that is where the influx of Vietnamese after that war mostly settled.

And it's named after a number of great mystery and significance...
But you already knew that!

I drive by that 23rd St. sign every day on the way to work and it finally hit me that I needed a photo of it.

lyndsey-
I'll talk to you when I get home! ;-)
